Our Year 9 Business Mentees were inspired by their mentor to fund raise for Radio City’s ‘Cash for Kids’ charity.
Lynn Rigby of Department of Work and Pensions has been meeting the Year 9 girls regularly to discuss the world of work, employability skills and to understand how the decisions made now can impact upon their future.
Jessica, Libby, Taylor and Lily Mae have been selling tickets for students to name an enormous teddy bear and ‘Guess How Many Sweets’ were in a jar. The girls learnt about marketing, leadership, time management and organisation during this process and we are very grateful to Lynn for her encouraging words and kindness.
Congratulations go to Mrs Delaney who won the sweets jar and Callum who is now the proud owner of ‘Finley’ the bear!
