Merseyside Police Bike Tagging Event
Our friends at Merseyside Police are running a ‘bike tagging’ event on Saturday 14th Jan at Rimrose Valley park 10.00- 12.00 and at the start of the coastal path at Burbo Bank by the life boat station 14.00 -16.00.
In short, they mark bikes with a unique QR code. This code is then linked to a national database which they use if any bikes are recovered or during stop checks of people on bikes.
It is a free service and takes 5 mins to administer.
