News: Girls Football visit to St George's Park (12th September 2017)

Thanks to an invitation from ex-pupil and England/Liverpool Girls Football player Alex Greenwood, a group of Savio students were lucky enough to go to go down to Burton-Upon-Trent to watch the England Women's training camp at St George's Park.

This was in preparation for their upcoming World Cup Qualifier next week against Russia. The students got to watch a training session, meet the team nutritionalist and then have a Q&A session with Alex, Siobhan Chamberlain and Nikita Parris.

This was an inspirational opportunity for the girls and one they will never forget.
