Statistician and Media Journalist – what do they have in common?
Well, Year 8 found out about two very different careers and how peoples qualifications, aptitudes and passions can lead them down different career routes. The idea that a career can be decided at an early age and then stuck with is evolving in this ever changing world. So knowledge of different careers and their demands is vital as well as essential if our students are to fulfil their potential. We are grateful to Sofia Theophilou (Journalist) and Kevin HY Hau (Statistician) who both travelled from Blackpool to share their insights and advice which the students appreciated and prompted some thought provoking questions.
