Savio Salesian College students help lady who had fallen in her road.
Six of our students helped an elderly lady who had fallen whilst emptying her bins. The daughter of the 84 year old lady contacted the college to say how grateful she was following an incident that morning when her mother fell over and was lying there for some time before our students saw her, picked her up and helped her back into her home.
Later that day on their way home from school, our students returned to check on the lady and bought her a gift.
We are so proud of our young people who demonstrated Salesian spirit in the community and are a credit to their families.
Thankfully, the lady in question has recovered and is doing well.
