As a Catholic community, our Savio Salesian College joyfully celebrated Welcome Mass for year 7 students who have taken a big step in their lives.
The Mass began with the warm welcome of Mr. Costello, the headteacher. Then, focusing on the theme ‘Share the Light of Jesus’, Father Jakub who led the Mass, encouraged our new students to recognize different gifts and talents given by God in order to learn, grow and serve people around. The celebration finished with tea, coffee and lovely conversations between teachers and parents.
We would like to give a big thank you to brilliant students who helped during this wonderful celebration by doing the readings, bringing gifts and being altar servers as well as the presence of parents and carers.
We pray and try our best to build our Savio Salesian Community into a place of respect, understanding, affection and humour.
May God bless our 2022-2023 year with his peace and love!
