Boys Football Roundup
Our boys school football teams have been in Sefton Cup action this week. Year 7 and Year 8 had home ties against Sacred Heart and Maghull respectively whilst Year 9 travelled to Maricourt.
Each year group battled bravely against tough opposition and whilst the results went against them, the boys could not be faulted for their attitude and effort throughout.
Our player of the match awards went to:
C. Walsh (Year 7)
A. Gardner (Year 8)
D. Kolesnikov (Year 9)
On Monday, our Year 10’s are in action in the same competition. They face Birkdale and will be looked to avenge the narrow defeat against the same opposition in this competition last year.
