UrbanPlanUK Workshop
A cohort of our Year 10 Geography and Business Studies students enjoyed the challenge of an Urban Plan Workshop. This was an interactive workshop based around real-life challenges of urban regeneration.
The students used physical 3D models, iPads and Site Boards as well as media resources to develop and design a fictional town accounting for issues around the financial market, social, environmental and design. The students were enthusiastic about the challenge and responded positively with some amazing responses that impressed the volunteers from CBRE, Brook and Sabina along with the Urban Plan facilitators Richard and Anne-Liese.
The students had an opportunity to consider their employability skills and career opportunities too.
