Several of our sports teams have been in action over the last few weeks.
Our Y7 boys and girl's dodgeball teams took part in a South Sefton competition against other local schools. Our players of the tournament went to J. White for the boys and C. Mocan for the girls.
Part of our Y7 and Y8 Basketball squads had fixtures against King's Leadership Academy Hawthornes. Y7 were narrowly beaten whilst Y8 won 12-8. Our players of the match awards went to J. Berry-Mcallister (Y7) and to J. Aguebor (Y8).
Finally, our Y11 Football Team have been in Sefton Cup action away at Birkdale. We lost narrowly in a fiercely competitive match on a very bobbly pitch. Our player of the match awards went to L. Dunn for a calm and assured performance in defence.
All of our Netball, Football (Boys and Girls) and Basketball squads have been in training for our upcoming fixtures over the next two weeks.
Finally, huge congratulations to our former pupil and England Lioness Alex Greenwood who has been given the freedom of Sefton for her outstanding achievements with the National Team. Well done Alex!
